For our feature today I’m sharing with you this cute card made with the tree shaped card that you can find in the store here.

this card shape is a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of Spring!!!

Slushie Saturday 2.13.10!

Lynda here…bringing you our Slushie Saturday for 2.13.10!  This week we had awesome projects submitted for our animal theme and it was hard to decide who to Scoop…so I used a totally scientific approach to my process…I asked my kids…  not only is the elephant cute, but the lollipops I am sure helped to push your pachyderms into the winner circle!

This weeks winner is Holly with her adorable elephant valentines:

pack of pachyderms:

Congratulations to you Holly…please proudly display this on your blog because you’ve been Scooped by the team at What’s the Scoop!!

and be sure to stop by the Paper Popsicles store to pick up your very own elephant card template here.

Jess created this friendship card:

and Marci made this friendship card:

I put both names in a hat and had my oldest dd pick out a name…and MARCI….you are our lucky winner of the Kiki Arts RAK….and we (my daughter and I) thought it was only fair that we also send Jess some Kiki Arts bling for taking the challenge….so if you would both leave a comment with your email address I will contact you for your mailing address!!!

Congratulations to you both and your names are also in the drawing for the monthly RAK as well….double dipped!!!!

Moosetrack Monday 2.8.10 with Lynda

New week….new theme…and this week our theme is Animals…  A celebration of our four legged friends….So your projects submitted for our monthly drawing this week need to have an animal theme.

Both my girls are real animal lovers….my oldest loves horses!!!  She has been taking riding lessons for a year now and still gets to excited when we see any horse anywhere.  We are lucky enough to live within walking distance of an equestrian center, so we visit them a lot….and they seem to love it when she comes along…

The scoop on my layout:  Pattern paper:  Dream street, Ribbon:  Daisy Bucket, Cardstock:  Bazzill basics, buttons and ticket shape:  Scenic Route; Adhesive:  Helmar Scrap dots

I hope you will be inspired to play along with us this week in our Animal theme…if you do create a new project based on this theme please link it up on this blog post using Mr. Linky.

Wednesday’s Dippin’ Dot Digitals 2.4.10

Welcome to Wednesday’s Dippin’ Dot Digitals!!! This week our theme is friendship and I have to say that when I got a peek at the newest digital stamps by Cheeky Radish I had to create a card for a friend that featured this cute little guy:

this image is called Coffee break and can be found here in the store.

So for my card I decided to color this cutie in using some Prismacolor pencils…I decided to not do a huge amount of blending this time, but to allow the texture of the pencil lines add to the design on the cup…shading done with lots various colors of pink.
The entire image was cut out and I rounded the edges and mounted it onto foam tape so it would pop. Adding a little bit of ribbon and my sentiment that I printed onto cardstock and my friendship card was done:

The scoop on my card:   Digital stamp by Cheeky Radish Coffee Break, Pattern paper: Kiki Arts Amore, Ribbon:  May Arts, Adhesive: Helmar 450 glue, foam tape, Prismacolor pencils.

I created a sketch based on my card too:

I hope you’ll take our friendship challenge this week.  If you do be sure to link up your creation to the Monday post using Mr. Linky…and if you happen to create a friendship card based on my sketch…and link it before 2/7/10  I’ll put your name in the hat for this fabulous RAK:

This RAK features ten (10) sheets of Kiki Art paper from the China and Familia lines as well as some of Kiki’s uber sparkly bling!!!

So…what are you waiting for…get busy creating…if you create a new friendship project of any kind be sure to link it up to the Monday post here and if you create something from my sketch and link it up by 2/7/10, in addition to the monthly drawing, you’ll get your name in the hat for the drawing on this fabulous RAK!!!

Fudgesicle Friday 1.29.10 with Lynda

Welcome to the LOVE zone on Fudgesicle Friday….

For my project this week I decided to use this adorable digital stamp design by Cheeky Radish…isn’t Tootsie the cutest…don’t you just LOVE him….  He just makes me smile…  I colored him with various Prismacolor pencils and then cut him out.  I rounded the corner on my image piece of cardstock and mounted it with foam tape onto the card that I had topped with a piece of pattern paper from Nikki Silvis.  I printed my sentiment on the computer and inked the edgea…

The scoop on my card:  Digital stamp Tootsie by Cheeky Radish;  Pattern paper:  Nikki Silvis U R My Fav/U R Love; Colored pencils: Prismacolor.

Be sure to check out the Paper Popsicles store for more great digital stamp designs that you can use to create your own Valentines and feel the LOVE this holiday season.

If you create a new project based on our theme this week (love) be sure to post a direct link to your theme based project from your blog to our blog (any other links will be removed).
