OUR TEAM

Lynda Lindley, Staff Design Team Director

Hi I'm Lynda and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my handsome husband of almost 15 years and two beautiful princesses.

I have been scrapbooking and card making for over ten years. I love trying any kind of art and am always looking for new things to incorporate into my projects. I have to create; I just don't feel grounded unless my hands are creating something no matter what it is. I consider myself to be an "eclectic" artist; I love to combine elements onto my projects. My paper crafting style tends to be classic, fresh, simple, and a bit shabby/vintage at times. I ink just about everything that comes into and out of my craft room. I scrapbook, alter, and make cards with my supplies. I enjoy trying new techniques and incorporating new concepts into my designs.

I look forward to being able to inspire you with the wonderful projects the team will create each month.

Tricia Gorden, Staff Lead Designer

My name is Tricia and I am from Northern Indiana.  I have been scrapbooking ever since I became pregnant in 1997 with my first child.  The addiction has stuck with me for so long that I hardly remember a time that I haven't been crafting!  My favorite works are layouts but I must admit that cards, ATC's, and altered items are quickly moving up my list!  I think my style is generally clean cut and precise.  I love showing people new techniques and how to do simple yet effective scrapbooking layouts.  It is not what you put on your page that is important, but rather the message you are trying to convey to others.

The members at Paper Popsicles represent a fun loving, multi-talented group of people whom I am positive you will enjoy too!!!  Thanks for stopping by and stick around to play a bit!

Cassie Larson, Digital Stamp Designer

Hi everyone!! Cassie here! I  live in the Texas Panhandle with my husband and darling 2 year old son. I taught high school for 11 years before quitting when the baby was born to sell lia sophia from home along with raising my son. Some other things I love besides my family and stamping: God, good food, reading, dancing in the kitchen with my son, movie theatre popcorn, a good cocktail, baseball, NASCAR, thunderstorms, and Sudoku. There's more too but hey, it's really all about the stamping, right?

I discovered paper crafting over 8 years ago as a punch artist. A foray into a local stamp store in search of punches got me pulled into stamping too. My friend's laugh because I said "I'm not a stamper" at that first club meeting. I wasn't that night, but I sure was by the next month! Oh, have times have changed! I did take a hiatus for about 4 years but since being back at all day I've been able to spend more time creating. It's such a joy and a blessing in my life - there's just something about being able to work with art supplies that is energizing and relaxing at the same time! Even though I enjoy many paper crafts,  stamping is my passion.

I'm so excited to be part of the Paper Popsicles team and look forward to working with the digital designs and sharing them with each of you!

Valerie Chmielak, Digital Stamp Designer

Hi I'm Valerie and I am a stay at home mom to 4 year old twin boys.  I have been married to my high school sweet heart for 6 years.  I live in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago IL. I began scrapbooking or as my husband and sons call it "crapbooking" since 1994.  It has been fun to watch scrapbooking change since then.  I love learning new techniques and trying out new ideas.  I tend to do more layouts, but have quickly too become addicted to making cards and altering things.  I consider my style to be classic modern.  I am always doing something crafty either by myself or with the boys.  I love that scrapbooking gives me the opportunity to record precious memories and is a way for me to relax and de-stress.

I look forward to sharing my creations with you and I hope to inspire you to try something new.

Samantha Dikeolakos, Shaped Card Designer

Hello there! My name is Samantha and I live in Northeast, Indiana (I was bornin England). I have been happily married for 18 years and have 2 awesome children. I am a VERY proud Marching Band mom!!! Having the children in activities give me plenty of opportunities to take pictures for layouts. So much so, that most times I find myself falling behind on layouts!!!

My love of card making and paper crafting started about 10 years ago, even though I have always done crafts of one kind or another. I also enjoy quilting, cross-stitch and sewing. I am also an avid reader. My love of card making has grown over the years to include scrapbook layouts and altered projects. I will say that I do love card making, I really enjoy personalizing the card for the person receiving it.

I love being a part of the Paper Popsicles family; they are a group of VERY talented and fun people. I hope you enjoy the website as much as I do.

Robyn Schaub, Kit Designer

Hi! My name is Robyn. I grew up in a small town in Arkansas, but now I live in the big city of Dallas, Texas. I'm married to a sports-loving, financial guy, and we have two little girls whom you'll see a lot of in my projects. I'm a professional writer, and I work full-time in corporate communications. When I'm not working or scrapbooking, I enjoy reading, travel, photography and hanging out with friends. While I've been known to dabble in many kinds of crafts – from gift wrapping to hair bows – I love scrapbooking most of all because it allows my to tell my stories about my family and my life.

I love being part of the very talented and fun Paper Popsicles community, and I'm honored to be able to share my work as part of the Design Team.

Lora Oliver, Kit Designer

I have been papercrafting in some form since I was 14, when I created my first scrapbook. In high school, I received a silver award on the state level for my FFA chapter scrapbook, but it wasn't until recently that I focused on scrapping as a form of artistic expression and created more frequently. Through my love of scrapping, I have also been introduced to the wonderful world of altered art beyond the page. This has become another passion of mine and I have created altered books, housewares and jewelry, always using paper in the process.

Carol Sheetz, Card Kit Designer

I'm Carol Sheetz, and I live in Illinois.  I've been happily married to my wonderful husband Dave for 15 years, we have two amazing daughters, Emily and Jessica, and we also have a very spoiled Australian Shepherd appropriately named Princess.  I'm very thankful and so lucky that my family supports my creative efforts!  I don't know what I would do without them!  I've been scrapbooking for such a long time, and my love for it continues to grow.  My addiction to crafting supplies continues to grow too, but that's a whole other story!!  I scrapbook, rubber stamp, make cards, alter items, and I love it all!  I never thought I was creative until I started paper crafting.  Now, I realize that it is my art form, and it really makes me happy!

Jennifer Carpenter, "How To" Class Instructor

Hi ya!  I'm Jen (or many know me as JenC).  I've been crafting since my youth. Everything from calligraphy and cross-stitch to sewing and woodworking. I enjoy trying new crafts so it's no wonder that paper crafting and scrapbooking caught my eye several years ago and has become my craft of choice ever since.

My wonderfully patient hubby of nearly 20 years and our son put up with my crafts taking over the kitchen counters and our dining table on a daily basis. Although I enjoy cooking too, it usually gets forgotten or postponed if I'm in the middle of a project. (Sorry guys!)

I became part of Paper Popsicles a few months ago and am having such a fun time! It's a great community of crafters. I know you'll enjoy it too.  And, if you ever have a request or idea for a future How To, drop me a line and let me know.
  coming soon...
